2015 Honoree           Bishop Joseph Garlington

In 2015, the Bishop Joseph Garlington Israel Experience Scholarship honored Joseph Garlington who has been a strong supporter of Israel for decades. Bishop Garlington leads Covenant Church of Pittsburgh a 3,000-member multi-cultural congregation, and has touched millions of lives around the world through his ministry in music, speaking and his many books. He regularly consults for pastors, church and organizations who are eager to develop models of racial reconciliation and healing.

Dr. A.R. Bernard

In 2013, the A. R. Bernard Israel Experience Scholarship honored Dr. A. R. Bernard who throughout his professional life has given himself to teaching the truths found in the Holy Scriptures, and specifically has revealed to all the eternal covenants made by G-d with the people and the land of Israel, has demonstrated an unshakable commitment to the good and prosperity of that people and that land, and has dedicated himself to the G-dly education of successive generations to do the same.

Mr. Harvey Krueger

In 2012, the Harvey Krueger Israel Experience Scholarship honored the life and legacy of Harvey Krueger who has dedicated without reservation much of his personal and professional life as a champion of the enduring promise of the Jewish Homeland, given of his industry, talent, and personal resources in pursuit of the good of the people and the land of Israel, having been instrumental in the development of capital markets for the State of Israel and its private industries resulting in some of the most significant corporate efforts building up the Nation, and has been an unwavering voice calling others to this noble cause.

Dr. Frederick KC Price

In 2011, the Frederick K.C. Price Israel Experience Scholarship honored Dr. Frederick K.C. Price who throughout his professional life has given himself to teaching the truths found in the Holy Scriptures, and specifically has revealed to all the eternal covenants made by G-d with the people and the land of Israel, has demonstrated an unshakable commitment to the good and prosperity of that people and that land, and has dedicated himself to the godly education of successive generations to do the same.

Dr. Betty R. Price

In 2011, the Betty R. Price Israel Experience Scholarship honored Dr. Betty R. Price, wife to Apostle Frederick KC Price.  Dr. Betty plays a vital role in her husband’s ministry, as well as in the operation of the Crenshaw Christian Center. Over the years Dr. Betty received numerous awards and commendations from local, state, and federal government agencies for her community service work, and most recently, received the honor as "Woman of the Year" from the Los Angeles County Commission for Women in the Second District

Gen. Shimon Erem Z"L

In 2009, the Shimon Erem Israel Experience Scholarship honored Shimon Erem who has throughout his life given himself without reservation to the enduring promise of the Jewish Homeland, courageously served his nation both in war and in peacetime, and has dedicated himself to seek the good of the people and the land of Israel strategically building bridges of friendship and mutual respect with those outside of Israel.

Gen. Erem, passed away in May 2012. May His memory be for a blessing (Z"L). Danielle, his wife and partner of 42 years has carried on his legacy of building bridges and strengthening Israel.
